The title sounds cheesy, doesn't it? Cam hanjeng. Hahaha. Well, as promised before, today I want to share my priceless umrah experience whilst I worked in Saudi circa 2008.
Motip cakap omputih?
Somewhere nearby our worksite. Petang-petang layan unta lalu tepi tu.
Well actually, I have drafted a story of my experience performed Umrah circa 2008, but I find it too draggy that no body going to read it. Ok, let's cut the crap and straight to the point.
It was my third time when this bad experience happened. Went there with friends of the same age. Well, you can agak budak-budak muda perangai macam mana kan?
Mula-mula van kena towed after we all done with umrah. So, our driver kena go find the van and bayar saman, 50 riyal. Memandangkan payah nak cari parking yang proper, this one pakcik suggest kami terus ke Jeddah. Alasannya "kita kasi Karim (our driver) rehat. Kita kasi dia rehat dekat hotel company. Lagipun kita boleh shopping sana sebab pakcik pun dah nak balik Malaysia. Nak beli souvenir bawak balik".
By the time pakcik tu cakap camtu, kiter dah mula macam hmmm. Yelah, knowing it was my last time buat umrah, kiter nak buat la baik-baik.
Sampai je hotel company kat Jeddah, bukan setakat driver yang rehat, dengan kami semua pun tidur sampai terlajak solat Jumaat, Asar. And around 6pm camtu, pakcik tu ajak pergi shopping complex kat Jeddah. Again, we missed solat. Astagfirullah. Kata buat umrah, tapi solat tinggal-tinggal.
Dipendekkan cerita, masa nak balik ke site (tempat kerja), kami pusing-pusing Jeddah around 4 jam, tak jumpa-jumpa jalan (or highway) nak ke tempat kami, which is around 600km from Jeddah. Pusing punya pusing, terjumpa jalan yang sama. Tanya orang pun, tak membantu langsung.
Two of my close friends there. See, how far Mekah from our place?
Yang kelakarnya lagi bila pakcik tu marah driver kami. Knowing driver tu tak faham bahasa melayu, selumber je dia cakap "dia ni lah. Siang tadi terlebih tidur. Pening agaknya". Poor Karim.
Dipendekkan cerita (again??), lepas pusing-pusing berjam-jam tu sekitar Jeddah, we eventually find the way to our work place. Alhamdulilah. And we realized it was actually petunjuk dari Allah on how we should really go umrah to do umrah. Bukan pergi umrah, but sibuk nak shopping and no point of going umrah but amalan wajib selumber je tinggalkan.
This was when I first time performed the Umrah. Great company, priceless experience. Nothing you could ask more. Oh, me are not so anonymous anymore. Hehe.
So gitulah. I know I shouldn't bragged about this lame experience, tapi sekadar pedoman bersama, I think apa salahnya kan?
So, itulah kisahnya. Even though tadi kiter dah cakap cut the crap, tapi still rasanya masih panjang. Ah lantak lah, agak-agak tak nak baca, feel free to click butang X kat penjuru kanan window komputer masing-masing. La ikro ha fidddin, kan?
Wallahualam.

p/s: hari jumaat tak blh carut2. haha
pengalaman tu lah yg mendewasakan. kan?
Tapi Allah tak terima amalan sunat kalau kita tinggalkan yang wajib...
i prefer if dosa pahala Allah yang tentu dan hukum.
:)
p/s: nasib baik dah pergi twice before. semoga Allah terima lah umrah yang terdahulu tu.
yeah... lagipun bukan sengaja kan?..
takpe. masih ada bahagian dari Allah atas usaha2 tu... Niat nak buat benda baik pun Allah dah bagi pahala kan.
